First off, this car was purchased by the consignor in 1971, where he immediately changed the color from red to Wimbledon White at the age of 18. Cadillac broadened its market coverage in 1936 with the introduction of the series 60 family of vehicles completely new to cadillac. They were priced very fairly and showed extraordinary performance. They ran on a 121-inch wheelbase which was 7 inches shorter than the smallest 1935 cadillac. New, also for 1936 was the redesigned l-head v-8 with 322 cubic-inches which was rated at 125 bhp. Behind it was a there speed manual transmission. All 1936 cadillacs were equipped with gm's knee-action independent front suspension and had the new duo-servo hydraulic brakes. Also new to this cadillac was a center-point steering and a front stabilizer bar which was an industry first and complimented the carry-over rear stabilizer bar and contributed to the exceptional handling on the 36's. All of the bodies were done by fisher the larger cadillac vehicles had bodies finished by fleetwood. Gr auto gallery is pleased to present this highly desirable 1936 series 60 v-8 convertible coupe with rumble seat. It is rumored that this is one of ten remaining in the united states! It has also been on the woodward dream cruise many times and has proven how easy it can handle any type of traffic situations. This cadillac is actually a celebrity! it was the "cover car" in the october of 2012 edition of collectible automobile. This vehicle was purchased by the current owner in 1969. The car is very original, complete and correct it was driven for about 15 years as-is and then commenced ad complete body off restoration which was done in the 1980's. The body, fenders, floors, etc. Were in excellent condition and needed little to no work done to them other than stripping and painting. The restoration consisted of a complete mechanical restoration of the engine, transmission, brakes, rear end, wiring, new paint, new upholstery, new chrome, new glass, top, restored gauges, etc. When the car was originally restored it was finished in a lacquer paint, but over the years the lacquer paint began to crack, resulting in the car to be completely stripped down to bare metal and repainted again this was in 2007. The car is finished in the factory correct 1936 cadillac colonial crme and is looks absolutely phenomenal. The chassis was re-detailed as needed and a new top was also installed. Makes every effort to represent each vehicle accurately and with integrity. We also welcome third party inspections when necessary. Unless otherwise noted, all vehicles are sold as is, no warranty expressed or implied.

The ford fairlane is an automobile model that was sold between 1955 and 1970 by ford in north america. The name is derived from henry ford's estate, fair lane, near dearborn, michigan. Over time, the name referred to a number of different cars in different classes; the fairlane was initially a full-sized car, but became a mid-sized car from the 1962 model year. The mid-sized model spawned the australian-built fairlane in 1967, although in that market it was considered a large car. Gr auto gallery is pleased to present this extremely well done 1966 ford fairlane for consideration. Offered here is a stunning example of a car where money and time was definitely not a concern during the ground up rotisserie restoration. From the ground up every surface was painted, nearly $24,000. 00 just in the paint job!! The owner has provided us with multiple large binders full of receipts and service records that add up to nearly $100,000. 00. According to the owner, the vehicle has been completely restored from top to bottom with nothing left to chance! The engine has been replaced with a very strong running roush built dual quad, aluminum intake 427ci v8 that has less than 5 miles on it. The transmission, bell housing, hurst shifter, clutch and driveshaft are brand new along with new axles with 31 spline gears to stand up to the power!! Increased rear suspension supports welded to the body for increased torsional rigidity the interior of this vehicle brand new including sound deadening material under the carpet. Ithere are some extremely nice upgrades like; ceramic powder coated and all new borla ss exhaust . Vehicle fires up with ease and is strong thru the gears and brakes with confidence when on the open roads. This car is completely documented form start to finish! Makes every effort to represent each vehicle accurately and with integrity. We also welcome third party inspections when necessary.
